Sherlock Holmes: The Complete Novels and Stories, Volume I
The story doesn't have a lot new there, but I do like the main characters quite a lot. I'm not sure what the story is behind how the US got to be the way it is (besides climate change, apparently). I did think it was interesting that different color text are used for the alternating POVs. I'm not sure what purpose it serves, really.
