Intensely Focused

I tried, I really did. I tried for 350 pages. I kept waiting for the book I was reading to relate to the summary on the back. Time travel was involved and H.G. Wells appeared for a while. And that about sums up the relationship.

Mostly it was privileged people whining about falling in love across class lines.

It didn't help that it was written in omniscient POV which I nearly always find grating.

It's really too bad because the summary on the back of the book sounded pretty interesting.
